Osthi is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film directed by S. Dharani, starring Silambarasan in the lead
role.
A remake of the 2010 blockbuster Hindi film Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap and
written by Dileep Shukla, it will also feature Githan Ramesh, Richa Gangopadhyay, Sonu Sood,
reprising his role from the original, Nizhalgal Ravi and Revathi in supporting roles.
The film is in post-production stage and is set for release on the first week of November, 2011.
